Aloha!

Postby Sifu Angie Abad » Thu Feb 04, 2010 2:11 pm

Aloha to you all! I hope everyone had a great New Year.
Thank you Sifu Phil and Sifu Remy for such a great job on your web site. I am deeply touched with the layout you have for Shi-Zu Allen Abad. My dad has touched, taught and learned much through his martial arts. I can only continue to train and live by his words to become half the man he is.

Just a little cute story....k? My dad/Shi-Zu watched all his grand kids demo at the Aloha Festival, March 15, 2009 the day of his birthday. They did very well for last minute training. Anyway, there was the little one, dressed in white gi , only three years old and not knowing the form, but to only punch forward. From afar dad could see him. Shi-Zu shakes his head and with a big smile says,

" Keep punching boy, just keep punching "

No matter what life may bring towards you, "Keep punching, just keep punching"

Make it a great year for the martial arts ohana!

Mahalo,
Sifu Angie

Aloha Angie Girl,
I agree about the great job Sifu Phillip & Sifu Remy are doing not only to honor your Father, but Sijo & Kajukenbo as well. I was also there and very proud at the Aloha Festival when the Abad Ohana performed to hundreds in front of your Daddy.

To be honest & upfront. Your Father knew me not to be a very flowery person,

For ALL Martial Artist of any style or system.
To honor your teachers & lineage You must continue to teach, share, train, and be the best person you can be. As GM Xizu Allen Abad told me often, you find enlightenment through becoming a good person while training & teaching the martial arts.

You cannot be a Sifu, a Sigung, a Professor, a Grandmaster without training, teaching, having a school (Even if only in the garage or back yard and only one student) & sharing your knowledge.

Just like you cannot be a Mother or Father without bearing children or Grandparent if your children does not bear you their children.

If you are not teaching, sharing & training, you are not doing what Sijo & GM Xizu Abad wanted.

Respectfully,
George Lim

(To the Abad girls , Love Uncle George)

Aloha and mahalo to Grandmaster "Uncle" George and Sifu Angie Abad for the kind words. It means a lot and is very important for Sifu Remy and I to know that we are both pushing in the right direction, thus, we ALL have a duty to continue to push forward in Shi Zu's name and to never let him be forgotten. We can only be as successful if we carry the torch in greater numbers. If we are to keep Sijo, Kajukenbo, and Shi-Zu Abad's "flame" alive, take a moment and think about our specific roles and who we are within our immediate lineage. Re-discover your true intentions, objectives, and goals when each of you took your belts of advancement from our great teacher. Words well spoken "Uncle" George.

Aloha Uncle George,

Thank you so much for your reply. I also read the other post you wrote, " lasting memories..." I believe it is?

To be totally honest uncle, you scared me....you sounded like my dad! It made me think twice. And the only other person who could ever do that was my dad...lol! I think that means I better hurry up and open up my class! I am blessed and my sisters, I am sure will agree we are blessed to have great Kajukenbo mentors as yourself and aunty to watch over us and support us in keeping daddys and uncles legacy alive. See you both soon!

with love and aloha,
angie

Four factors drove the development

Postby pangdun » Mon Sep 06, 2010 6:34 pm

Four factors drove the development of one of the PVC covers award winners in the Non-Food Primary Packaging category, Household Essentials LLC’s Ironing Board Waterproof tarp Cover & Pad (with Packaging Pouch). According to Truck tarps company president and CEO James Glenn, the Hazelwood, MO-based laundry and storage products Heavy duty tarps company eliminated the polyvinyl chloride pouch package for its ironing board cover and pad first and foremost because “it was the PVC Fabric right thing to do.”
