Great advice.
I too "graze", as Fran calls it. Hate the way I feel when I over eat. I started using protein powder about 5 months ago and have put on about 6-8 pounds and cut my body fat about 2-3%.
My work out is about 10 hrs a day of beating hardwood floors into submission. Great for hammer fist and ground rotation. Spreading glue is great for the core, shoulders, pecks and forearm. Listening to sports talk is great for inspiration(see floyd landis). If anyone would like to work out with me email to damnmykneesandbackhurt.com.
All joking aside, Quinoa is great and I'm a big believer in protein powder. Fran also got me doing farmer carries with dumbbells, I added curls and shoulder press while walking around. Go straight to dumbbell bench press, followed by pull ups, followed by hitting and kicking the heavy bag with wrist weights, followed by jump rope with wrist weights. Then start over with the next higher weight of dumbbells. Thanks to Sifu Phil and Fran for putting new tools in my workout tool box.
